The Client’s Challenge
Airport terminals can be large and overwhelming places. They are often full of people rushing to their next destination, and this can make them stressful and chaotic environments. They can also feel impersonal or sterile.
The airport wanted to add some intrigue to make the location more than just a terminal, but a destination with botanical beauty to remember.
The Jay Scotts Solution
Jay Scotts used plants and planters to make the airport terminals more inviting and beautiful. Large and small floor-standing planters were placed in strategic locations, such as by the luggage conveyors or along walkways, adding a touch of greenery and color to the terminal.
The Client’s Result
Not only did the plants improve the aesthetic of the space, but by bringing in natural elements, plants helped to create a more welcoming environment for travelers.
