The Client’s Challenge
This client wanted a private, comfortable health-minded restaurant setting that offered a high-end look while creating a fun, intimate dining experience. Creating a commercial space like this is challenging for clients as their customers often want privacy from the street while also having both an open and refreshing experience once inside.

The Client’s Result
The Pura Vida Las Olas restaurant was the 9th to be designed in the brand’s signature Instagram-worthy aesthetic. Characterized by minimalist design elements and natural tones to create a bright and airy space, the client successfully launched this location at the end of 2021 with a huge turnout.
With an outside aesthetic that is absolutely stunning, it’s no wonder that most customers flock to the outdoor seating area as a daily ritual of healthy eating in a healthy environment.
Products Used
10 Wannsee Round planters were also used on the inside of the patio as accent pieces and as entrance markers to create intrigue in a wholly biophilic design concept. A matte charcoal finish was the perfect color complement for the brand. Adding a cool color like charcoal appeals to the ever-popular and professional minimalist style of decor while connecting with the natural wood colors of the furniture and other branding.
Using modern minimalist planters like the Wannsee and Badalona offered enough room in the commercial design scape for the lush greens of healthy thriving plants – denoting one of the cornerstones and appeal of the client’s brand – health and wellbeing.
